Eight ºÚÁÏÍø School of Art faculty and alumni have been awarded the Ohio Arts Council’s Individual Excellence Awards for 2023. Full-time faculty members Davin Ebanks (3D), Peter Christian Johnson (Crafts), Arron Foster (2D), and Shawn Powell (2D) were selected for the award, as well as part-time faculty in Foundations, Sharon Koelblinger. Students from the Junior Leadership of Columbiana County program visited the Kent State Salem Campus where they learned about options for beginning their higher education journeys close to home. The students are sophomores and juniors representing Beaver Local, Columbiana, Crestview, Leetonia, Lisbon, Salem, United and Wellsville high schools.
