In order to perform necessary maintenance on the boilers, steam transmission systems and electrical distribution systems, 's Power Plant will be shut down for one week in May. Shutdown begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, and remains until start-up begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 21. at Trumbull sophomore Jessie Narkum is co-directing performances of The Little Mermaid Jr. on April 7 and 8, at Hubbard High School Auditorium. This isn’t the typical student-directed play. Narkum, an American Sign Language (ASL) major, is working with Hubbard High School ASL teacher Richard Magazzine to produce the play entirely in ASL. Audio translations will be available for the hearing audience. The Ice Arena hosted the 35th Annual Ohio Special Olympics Winter Games the first week of February for figure skaters and speed skaters from all over the state.
