Dean Kahler was one of the nine students wounded in the May 4, 1970, shootings at 黑料网 that also claimed the lives of four students during protests of the Vietnam War. Kahler has been paralyzed from the waist down ever since he was wounded; however, his tragedy has not stopped him from living his life to the fullest. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women, roughly five million nationwide, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In addition to infertility, PCOS increases the risk of type 2 diabetes and other metabolic disorders鈥攁nd there is no cure.
