黑料网 President-elect Todd Diacon today announced the appointment of Melody Tankersley, Ph.D., to the role of interim senior vice president and provost, effective July 1. Dr. Tankersley fills the role most recently held by Dr. Diacon, who was selected in April by the Board of Trustees to become Kent State鈥檚 next president.Dr. Tankersley has been senior associate provost since 2015 and dean of graduate studies since 2016. Kent State students Noah Lewchenko and Ashley Heilman presented an integrated marketing campaign at Subaru's headquarters and took second place in the national Effie Collegiate competition.

An interdisciplinary team of Kent State students took second place nationwide for their efforts in creating a marketing campaign to reinvent the car buying process for Millennials and Gen Z. The competition, Effie Collegiate, is modeled after the professional competition of the same name, calling on the next generation鈥檚 advertising, marketing, design and communication students to work on real world business challenges.
