Kent State Junior Theater Studies Major Kelly Harper is the winner of the $2,500 Activism and Advocacy Scholarship established to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Poynter KSU Media Ethics Workshop. Harper’s entry, a script for a play titled “My Dear Aunt Flow” about women’s experiences with menstruation, was recognized as the winner in the scholarship competition recognizing outstanding student storytelling about social movements, activism or advocacy.
