The sixth annual Rainbow Run fundraising 鈥渇un run鈥 will take place on Friday, October 8 at 7 p.m. on Kent State鈥檚 Risman Plaza. All proceeds from the event will benefit the university's LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund. The Rainbow Run is one of most important fundraising events of the year for this fund that鈥檚 available to assist any Kent State student who identifies as LGBTQ+ and is in financial crisis. Two Communication Studies faculty members were honored at the Ohio Communication Association's 2021 Conference, "Resilience Through Communication," Oct. 1-2, 2021, at Youngstown State University.
