What a night it was at this winter wonderland! Sparkling lights lit up the ice rink as alumni and friends glided by. An acapella group and the spirit of Golden Flashes added to the magic of this winter night. Golden Flashes escaped the winter blues at Alumni Skate Night this past weekend on Jan. 28. In this seminar, students will receive a hands-on introduction to aspects of Linux command line, shell scripting, cloud computing, Linux system administration, and containers.
Today's applications run on complex layers of computing infrastructure. Understanding these different components will help the students reason about and troubleshoot applications and the infrastructure underlying them.
