Paris American Academy

At Paris American Academy (PAA) you will get the chance to study in one of the world’s fashion and design capitals. You will join field trips, workshops, lectures, and activities that are designed to expand your understanding of this exciting and fast-paced industry. In addition, you will complete a full academic course load and fully experience what it means to live in Paris and France.

Following participation in the Flashes 101 Instructor Academy, it is expected that instructors will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of “student ready” principles that support sense of belonging. 
  • Utilize teaching strategies which support First-gen, high-need, and underrepresented students. 
  • Be familiar with University resources available to support student success. 
  • Understand the challenges and needs of first-year students.
