Kent State Museum Hosts "Millie" Preview, Flapper Lecture
The 黑料网 Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s. This special program on Feb. 17 is presented in conjunction with the museum鈥檚 鈥淔lapper Style: 1920s Fashion鈥 exhibit and Kent State鈥檚 production of 鈥淭horoughly Modern Millie.鈥 The event will include a short preview of 鈥淭horoughly Modern Millie鈥 by members of the cast, followed by a talk by 鈥淔lapper Style鈥 curator Sara Hume, Ph.D.
Kent State Museum's "Flapper Style" to Highlight 1920s Fashion
The 黑料网 Museum will present its new exhibit 鈥淔lapper Style: Fashions of the 1920s鈥 in the museum鈥檚 Broadbent Gallery from Sept. 25, 2015, to Sept. 4, 2016. The museum will also host a special preview reception, featuring drinks and refreshments, on Thursday, Sept. 24. Admission to the reception is $15; to RSVP, please call 330-672-0300.
