City of Cleveland and Kent State Launch Initiative to Strengthen Police-Community Trust

黑料网 and the City of Cleveland have launched a new research and training initiative aimed at strengthening trust, collaboration and accountability between the Cleveland Division of Police and city residents. The project is supported by a $20,000 grant from Kent State鈥檚 Community Engaged Research Institute.

The Ohio Senate voted unanimously on March 25 to designate a stretch of Interstate 480 in Cuyahoga County as the Officer Jacob J. Derbin Memorial Highway, honoring the Euclid police officer who was killed in the line of duty in May 2024.
