Kent State Museum Hosts "Millie" Preview, Flapper Lecture

The Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s. This special program on Feb. 17 is presented in conjunction with the museum’s “Flapper Style: 1920s Fashion” exhibit and Kent State’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The event will include a short preview of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” by members of the cast, followed by a talk by “Flapper Style” curator Sara Hume, Ph.D.

Kent State Museum's "Flapper Style" to Highlight 1920s Fashion

The Museum will present its new exhibit “Flapper Style: Fashions of the 1920s” in the museum’s Broadbent Gallery from Sept. 25, 2015, to Sept. 4, 2016.
