Faculty and Staff Ombuds Exceptions to Confidentiality

  1. Threat of Serious Harm:
    The Faculty and Staff Ombuds may disclose information about a visit or visitor if the Ombuds believes there is a threat of serious harm to that visitor or another person.
     
  2. As Required by University Policy or State or Federal Law:
     
    1. Title IX
      黑料网 policy states that almost all employees, including the Faculty and Staff Ombuds, are mandatory reporters for purposes of Title IX.

 With profound sadness, 黑料网 College of Nursing shares the news of the passing of former Dean Davina Gosnell, Ph.D., RN, FAAN. She passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024, at the age of 81. Dr. Gosnell鈥檚 academic career at Kent State spanned 26 years, having joined the nursing faculty in 1978.
