Breanne Trammell, Assistant Professor in Print Media, has been selected for a Juror's Award for her print "Bad As I Wanna Be (Cheetah)" (below).  The annual international juried exhibition Stand Out Prints is located at the Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis, MN.  Seventy-two prints and objects (by 64 artists across four countries and 27 states) were selected from more than 800 submissions through an international call.  The exhibition was juried by Elizabeth Wyckoff, Curator of Prints, Drawings and Photographs at the Saint Louis Art Museum. ...

Thanks to a $100,000 grant from the National Science Foundation, two Kent State professors are researching climate change in Alaska.
