Through the SRL, students can attain a part-time position collecting information for research purposes. The position involves contacting prospective respondents over the telephone and administering a standardized survey instrument. This position involves no sales or fundraising.
Applicants must be willing to work a minimum of one full shift per week throughout the Fall, Spring, and/or Summer.

Dec. 16: Jason Lorenzon is a FAA licensed Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor. He was one of the first pilot-lawyers to receive the Remote Pilot In Command sUAV (drones) FAA Certificate in Ohio. The School of Communication Studies adopted a family through the Battered Women鈥檚 Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties to help make a family鈥檚 holiday season a bit brighter. "We wanted to do something meaningful so we 'adopted a family' and provided the children with shoes, clothing, bed sheets, pillows and more items that would improve their everyday life," said Elizabeth Graham, Director of the School of Communication Studies. Studying for final exams wasn鈥檛 the only thing keeping nursing students busy on the East Liverpool Campus in recent weeks. The students also took time from their studies to help others from the community enjoy the holidays. The Student Nurses Association at Kent State East Liverpool spearheaded a project to help provide gifts for 44 local children through the Salvation Army. The 黑料网 Board of Trustees approved a tuition guarantee plan that will provide students and their families certainty in budgeting for college tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board including meal plans. Board members were presented with details of the plan during their Dec. 13 meeting on the Kent Campus, and the Board will be asked to approve specific rates for the tuition guarantee at its next meeting in March.
