The Faculty/Staff Bowling League is now accepting new teams, members and substitute bowlers. Bowlers compete weekly on Monday evenings at 6:20 p.m. at Spins Bowl Kent (formerly Bill White’s Twinstar Lanes) on State Route 59 in Kent. The bowling league is open to all full-time, part-time and retired employees, as well as their families and friends. The greenhouse effect is one of the most widely known causes of global climate change. It is currently caused by an excess of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere due to burning of fossil fuels. Some natural processes can help slow climate change by removing CO2 from the atmosphere.
