Campus Community,    We were contacted by the Ashtabula City Police Department shortly after 8 a.m. about reports of gunfire that occurred in the area of Westshore Drive, east of campus. Police requested area schools be place into secure mode, and we immediately placed the campus on lockdown via the campus emergency messaging system and Flash ALERTS notifications. Located on the basement floor of Purinton Hall, directly across the hall from the elevator, Flash’s Food Pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items, as well as personal hygiene products. On April 11, 2019, the College of Architecture and Environmental Design was officially named, "The John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design." John Elliot, 1970 graduate, and his wife Fonda were honored at the dedication ceremony.
