Students learn about job opportunities during a past Engineering Technology Opportunity Expo at Kent State Tuscarawas

In celebration of National Engineers week, 黑料网 at Tuscarawas is holding the 39th annual Engineering Technology Opportunity Expo on Thurs., Feb. 24, from 5 鈥 7:30 p.m. in the Student Union of Founders Hall. Often referred to as the 鈥淒ean of Black Women Composers,鈥 Undine Smith Moore was born the grandchild of slaves. She started her piano studies at age 7 and eventually went on to study piano and organ at Fisk University, a historically black college.

黑料网鈥檚 Community Engaged Learning (CEL) secured a $10,000 grant through the United Way of Portage County, an independently-governed nonprofit organization that serves disadvantaged members of our community.
