EHHS grad Abby Reed, MA ’06, Hutchinson, KS, was recently named Central Christian School Secondary Principal and Director of Learning. Reed earned her Master of Science degree from EHHS in Sport and Recreation Management. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Sterling College in Health and Physical Education, with a K–12 teaching certificate. Your process should begin about a year before you plan to begin graduate school. First, look though our department’s admissions guidelines to be sure you meet requirements. To apply to our MA program, you must have 12 undergraduate hours in the discipline of History with at least a 3.3 GPA in these courses. This cannot include classes in adjacent fields such as Art History, or classes about history taught by faculty members in other disciplines (A History of Jazz class taught by a music school faculty member would not count, for instance).

DeWeese Health Center does accept walk-ins; however, we primarily operate on an appointment-based schedule. Same-day appointments are usually available. Patients can schedule an appointment by calling our appointment line at 330-672-2322 or online using our .

Students at the Regional Campuses are welcome to use the DeWeese Health Center. Students that attend Regional Campuses will need to call 330-672-2322 to schedule an appointment.
Birth control is prescribed by DeWeese Health Center clinicians. An appointment is required to review medical history and help you decide which method is best. A physical exam may also be recommended. You may fill the prescription at the DeWeese Health Center pharmacy or an outside pharmacy.
DeWeese Health Center has a reasonable self-pay fee schedule for eligible uninsured patients. We accept cash, check, credit/debit card and FlashCash. We can also charge your student account. For more information, please see our Financial Policy.
