Movers and Groovers will take place from August 19th – 20th from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
After moving into your residence hall, what better way to start your journey as a Golden Flash than with music, fun games, and ice cream?
*Required Event for First-Year Students*
For only first-year, ºÚÁÏÍø students living on-campus, in a residence hall. Commuting students will be required to attend a different check-in session on August 21, 8 - 9 a.m. (more details can be found in the app).
Need assistance locating your Dean's Welcome location? Stop by Risman Plaza right in front of the Kent Student Center between 8:45 - 9:15 a.m. Here, Peer Success Mentors (PSMs) will walk students to their specific Dean's Welcome location by college.
This event is required for all new students.  Â
Welcome Class of 2030! On Friday, August 21, make sure to follow your Peer Success Mentor (PSMs) from Convocation in the Memorial Athletic Convocation Center (MACC) to behind the Kent Student Center at the Centennial Field for your class photo!
On Friday, August 21, make sure to head to the Kent Student Center directly after the Class of 2030 photo for lunch provided by University Culinary Services. You will pick up your lunch at the Kent Student Center Ballroom.
