International journalist Daniel Grossman will visit Kent State to discuss his work reporting on climate change from around the world on Monday, March 19.

As alumna Christine Vodicka fights Stage 4 cancer, people often ask her how she is doing, and she replies, “I’m living the dream.”   Ms. Vodicka’s dream is to help other students succeed the same way her tutor at Kent State helped transform her from a struggling freshman to a student who graduated magna cum laude in 2000. That experience was so life changing that Ms. Vodicka decided to spend the time she has left providing free tutoring at her learning center in Middleburg Heights.
