The Kent State Orchestral Conducting Workshop is an intensive three-day training
experience designed for young conductors, aspiring graduate-level conductors, high school
orchestra directors and music educators seeking to refine their baton technique and
develop meaningful podium experience. Hosted on the Kent Campus, the workshop
provides each participant up to 60 minutes of podium time with the ºÚÁÏÍø
Orchestra, as well as small ensembles, piano and daily technique sessions.
