Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18. 黑料网 will be participating in this test. Donated by the Canfora family to 黑料网 Libraries鈥 Special Collections and Archives, the Alan Canfora May 4 Collection dedication will take place in the Harrick Garden Room on the first floor of University Library and will be followed by a reception.

During his lifelong effort to better understand what occurred on May 4, 1970, and its aftermath, Alan Canfora assembled the largest known private collection of May 4 documents and materials.

Now in its fifth year, the lecture and luncheon will be held in the Kent Student Center Ballroom and will include a special remembrance of Lewis. The lecture series was created to honor the legacy of Lewis and advance the scholarship of May 4 and the Vietnam War era. The 2026 speaker is David Strittmatter, Ph.D., associate professor of history at Ohio Northern University, who will present 鈥淭he Guardsmen Speak: Tragedy and Memory 56 Years Later.鈥
