At the Florence Center, students can choose from a diverse array of courses approved by ºÚÁÏÍø colleges and academic departments.

All majors are welcome and course offerings cover many academic areas at both undergraduate and graduate level.

If a full semester abroad doesn’t feel realistic for you, there are additional opportunities to study in Florence during the summer and spring break.  You can choose the program and the length of time that suits you best.

A local team of over 40 experts supports over 800 KSU students every year, making Kent State Florence the largest Kent State education abroad program and the largest American program in the city.

You’ll be assisted throughout the whole education abroad process (e.g., flights, housing, travel documents, etc.) and you’ll benefit from comprehensive orientations before you depart and when you arrive in Italy to prepare you for life in your new city.

Out of the 200+ programs we offer, Kent State Florence is one of the easiest locations to choose because the whole center is run by our university – our professors, our staff, our facilities.

Learn a new skill, supplement your interests, or find out more about a wide variety of topics related to education. Workshops are flexible, 100% online, and offer 1, 2, or 3 credit options for undergraduates and graduates. Start dates for the various offerings are ongoing throughout the fall. Enroll in any workshop up to two weeks before the start date.
