Below are events that will take place at the Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Trumbull, and Salem campuses to celebrate First-generation students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

Monday, November 3rd, 2025

Cheers to You, First Gen!

Description: Giveaways in Campus Center - 黑料网 at Stark cups for First Gen students. Campus Life staff will be there to CELEBRATE our students!
Time: 12pm-1pm

First Gen BINGO

Description: Join us for an hour of fun as we play a couple rounds of BINGO! Hosted by first gen staff and advocates, we鈥檒l have fun prizes and snacks for students.

Overcoming the Odds for Academic Success as a First-Generation Student

Description: Join us for a panel discussion featuring faculty, staff, and regional undergraduate students as they share their journeys, both past and present, toward academic success. The event will also highlight the unlikely path of a first-generation student who overcame obstacles to achieve academic success.

IT'S SWEET TO BE FIRST GEN!
