   1. Name: Your legal name will be used for diplomas, transcripts and commencement ceremony purposes.
      1. Any changes to your legal name need to be made with proper documentation by submitting a Legal Name Request Form.
   2. Diploma Mailing Address: Please be sure to update your diploma mailing address to ensure that you receive your diploma.
4. Remove a Student Directory Restriction

RSVP: May 21 - July 6

Each graduate who RSVPs their attendance will be allocated 6 guest tickets, cross the stage, and have their name announced.

• Pending graduates, check your Kent State email inbox for your unique commencement invitation.
• Email graduate@kent.edu if you missed the deadline to RSVP your ceremony attendance. 

Each graduate who RSVPs will be allocated 6 guest tickets. Tickets will become on July 15. 

Please make sure to before the ceremony, as tickets cannot be printed at the event. To access your tickets:

1. Sign In: Use your FlashLine credentials to sign in to the .

2. Select Tickets: Choose Commencement Student Tickets, then click Buy Now next to your ceremony time.

• Please Note: No payment is required. Clicking Buy Now simply completes your registration and allows you to download tickets.

3. Select Delivery Method:

• Print at Home: Download a PDF to print and share with your guests.
• Mobile Delivery: Download tickets to your mobile wallet.

4. Follow Prompts: Follow the prompts to complete your ticket order.

• Tickets cannot be printed on-site.
• All guests 2 and older must have a guest ticket for entry into the ceremony venue.
• A live simulcast of the ceremony will be available for guests without tickets.

If you need assistance, contact the Office of University Events and Protocol immediately. Office staff will not be available on event day to assist with ticket downloads.

The decision to grant visas belongs solely to the governing embassy/consular officials. For more information about U.S. visas:

• Graduation Fair will take place at the University Bookstore located at the Kent Campus Student Center. Stop in for a chance to win a raffle, purchase your cap and gown, and enjoy light refreshments. GradImages will be there to take headshots and cap and gown photos. Josten's will be available to assist with purchasing your announcements, class rings, and more!
  • Wednesday, June 3

• Unable to attend Graduation Fair? You can purchase your cap and gown from the Kent Campus Bookstore during normal business hours or order .
  • The deadline to order Fine Quality and Doctoral Regalia through the bookstore: June 12.
  • The deadline for online cap and gown orders, and doctoral rentals: July 2.
    • Missed the deadline? You can purchase associate, bachelor’s, and master’s regalia at the Kent Campus Bookstore.
• Reach out to the bookstore via email at SM8152@bncollege.com with any questions.

• ADA Accommodations: Contact University Events and Protocol at graduate@kent.edu if you will need assistance with ADA accessibility at the ceremonies.
• All Graduates: Please check in one hour before your ceremony in Room 153 of the MAC Center Annex to receive your name card and alumni pin.
  • Undergraduates, Master’s and Educational Specialist Graduates: After check-in, proceed to the MAC Center Gymnasium and sit with your college. Staff will guide you when it is time to cross the stage.
  • Doctoral Graduates: You will meet your faculty hooder 30 minutes prior to the ceremony in the adjoining room. You and your hooder will then proceed together to the MAC Center Gymnasium, where you will be seated together.

ºÚÁÏÍø has partnered with Parchment Inc. to improve the diploma fulfillment process for graduates of ºÚÁÏÍø. Upon final degree approval, the graduate’s diplomas will be fulfilled by Parchment.

• Your digital diploma will arrive approximately 4-5 weeks after commencement. Watch for an email notification.
  • Notification will be sent to your Kent State email.
  • Follow the link to set up your Parchment Digital credentials account.
  • Share and download your digital diploma as many times as you like.
• Paper diplomas will be mailed separately to your diploma (if listed) or permanent address on file 7-10 days after you receive your digital diploma.

To verify a diploma or permanent address:
