Guest Student Instructions
A guest student is someone whose home institution is not 黑料网. This includes students who are currently pursuing a degree at another college or university, as well as individuals who are not currently enrolled anywhere but meet the eligibility criteria and would like to take a few courses at Kent State.
To participate in the Summer Institute as a guest student, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Apply to the Summer Institute
Complete the Summer Institute application first. Your application will be reviewed as part of the program鈥檚 admissions process.
Step 2: Wait for Your Admission Decision
If you are accepted to the Summer Institute, you will receive instructions to complete the next step.
Step 3: Apply to Kent State as a Guest Student
After receiving your acceptance, you must submit a Guest Student Application to 黑料网 in order to enroll in the credit-bearing course(s) included in the program. Instructions and the application link are provided below.
This two-step process ensures you are admitted to both the Summer Institute program and 黑料网 for course enrollment. If you have questions at any point, we are happy to help guide you through the process.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that the guest student admission process can take several weeks. You must be admitted to both the Summer Institute and 黑料网 as a guest student before you are able to register for the two required credit courses that are part of the Institute.
For this reason, do not wait to begin the process if you are interested in participating. Starting early will help ensure there is enough time to complete all required steps before course registration deadlines.
