Job Description: Provides leadership by supporting the overall administration and strategic direction of the department. Oversees the Ice Arena and Outdoor Facilities, managing daily operations, long-term planning, and overall facility performance. As the building curator for both areas, ensures that spaces are safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently to support a wide range of programs and events. Serves as the Shared Services liaison for the Ice Arena and Outdoor Facilities, helping coordinate administrative processes and maintain alignment with university systems and procedures. Manages and approves all reservations and events within these spaces, ensuring a high-quality experience for participants and guests. Supervises both professional and student staff, including the Assistant Director for Competitive Sports and Outdoor Facilities, the Recreation Program Coordinator for the Ice Arena, the Groundskeeper II, and area-specific student employees. Through leadership, fosters a collaborative team environment and supports staff growth and development.
