SPIE - The International Society for Optics and Photonics
The SPIE Student Chapter is a graduate student-led organization dedicated to advancing involvement in optics, photonics, and related technologies. Our chapter creates opportunities for students to grow as scientists and engineers by hosting research seminars, hands-on workshops, and professional development events. We connect members with faculty, industry professionals, and alumni to support student careers.
In addition to academic events, we are committed to outreach and community engagement. Our chapter organizes STEM demonstrations, campus events, and collaborations with local schools and undergraduate organizations to share optical sciences. Members also benefit from access to SPIE travel grants, scholarships, and global networking opportunities, including participation in major conferences.
The SPIE Student Chapter brings together students interested in optics and photonics. We host talks, hands-on workshops, lab tours, and outreach events, and connect members with research opportunities, industry mentors, and conference travel support.
